Tournaments at Golfarea36
The Föhrenwald Golf Club is a popular venue for all kinds of tournaments. From regular Stableford tournaments to fun tournaments, charity tournaments, and even national championships, we host them all at our Golfarea 36.
In recent years, both the Föhrenwald Golf Club and the Linsberg Golf Club have been venues for Austrian ranking tournaments and regional championships.
In 2023, the 2nd GARANTA MidAm ranking tournament, including the Lower Austria (NÖ) regional championship, took place at the Linsberg Golf Club. Additionally, there are the following tournament highlights in the Golfarea 36 in 2023.
"Golfweek 36" - the Summer Golf Week at Golfarea 36.
The highlight of 2023 is undoubtedly our “Golfweek 36.” From August 15th to 20th, we will host 6 tournaments over 6 days at both the Föhrenwald Golf Club and the Linsberg Golf Club. The schedule will feature a good mix of Stableford and fun tournaments.
To kick things off, we have the Wein & Co Trophy, where we look forward to wine tasting and a fantastic wine pairing dinner. And to conclude our “Golfweek 36” in style, we have the Price of the City of Wr. Neustadt, which will be a culinary golf celebration.

"Afterwork" at GC Föhrenwald
Afterwork tournaments are becoming increasingly popular in Austria. Therefore, we want to combine good vibes, good wines, and (hopefully) enjoyable afterwork golf with our new tournament series
“Golf, Wine & Vibes” powered by Weingut Kerschbaum.
Once a month, from May to September, we will golf and then enjoy some relaxing chill-out music while sipping on a glass of wine from Weingut Kerschbaum. Non-golfers are also welcome to join us for a casual afterwork drink. We are confident that these events will become another highlight in the Golfarea 36.
